Orbital Olfaction — the pillar

Orbital Olfaction — two fragrances in a single wear, carried by only six perfumes in the world. Most perfumes give you one scent that fades. A Monzzaro Epos perfume gives you two: it opens as one identity and lands as another, travelling between them across the hours you wear it. This is the mechanism the whole house is built on. ORBITAL OLFACTION

Orbit de Parfum
The name, precisely

One mechanism. One collection. One that is yours.

The technology
ORBITAL™ OLFACTION

How it works — the house's dual-phase fragrance mechanism. Always singular, like a sense: you do not say "two visions."

The collection
Orbitals

What you buy — the perfumes built on the mechanism. "Which Orbital are you wearing?" is a sentence the house looks forward to.

The one you wear
Your Epos

What you are remembered by — a named perfume, numbered in its Act, that opens as one self and lands as another.

Every Epos is engineered with Orbital™ Olfaction — the house's own dual-phase fragrance mechanism.

What it is

The house's own way of building a perfume — two identities, placed on purpose.

A perfume is not a fixed thing on skin. It moves. Most compositions are built so that movement runs in one direction — a bright top that lifts away, a base that quietly takes over, the same character growing softer until it is gone.

Orbital Olfaction is built differently. A Monzzaro Epos perfume is composed as two distinct scent identities, deliberately placed at two points in the wear. It does not simply fade from strong to faint. It travels — from one identity, through a turning heart, into a second. Where it ends is not a quieter version of where it began. It is somewhere new.

We call the two points orbits. You wear the passage between them.

How it works — the two orbits

Opens as A, travels, lands as B — what happens across one wear.

Opens as A. The first orbit. This is how the perfume introduces you — the immediate impression, in the first minutes and the first hour. Bright, or fresh, or sharp, depending on the perfume. The self you walk in as.

Travels. The bridge. Over the middle hours the heart notes turn, carrying you off the first identity and toward the second. This is the part a normal drydown does not have — not a fade, but a handover. The perfume is actively changing character, not just losing strength.

Lands as B. The second orbit. This is the drydown you are remembered by — deeper, warmer, closer to the skin. Hours after you dressed, the scent on you is a different composition than the one you sprayed. The self you are remembered as.

One bottle. One wear. Two selves.

What you'll notice, when

The honest timeline of a morph — what to expect, hour by hour, before you buy.

We would rather set your expectations truthfully than poetically, so here is exactly what an Epos wear does — and does not — feel like.

The morph is gradual. There is no minute where the perfume flips. If you sniff your wrist every five minutes hunting for the switch, you will never catch it — the same way you cannot catch the second dusk becomes night. The turn happens the way hours do: continuously, and unmistakably in hindsight.

What you will notice, and roughly when:

In the first hour — Identity A, clear and complete. This is the scent as it introduces you.

Through the middle of the wear — the bridge. A thins, B rises; there are stretches where you can smell both at once. This is the handover, and it is subtle up close.

By the last hours — Identity B, standing on its own. Compare it honestly to the morning: it is not a fainter version of A. It is a different scent.

The test is simple, and we invite it: spray once in the morning. Smell your wrist at midday, and again in the evening, against the two identities named on the card in the box. If the evening reads like a quieter morning, what you are wearing is not an Epos.

Two things vary with skin, weather and dose: the pace of the turn, and how loudly each orbit projects. The destination does not vary. Every Epos lands where it says it lands.

And one thing we will not do: quote you wear-hours we have not finished measuring. When we publish numbers, they will be real ones.

Which perfumes morph

Only the six of Epos morph — Oud and Cristallo are classic by design.

The six perfumes of La Collezione Epos — Act I: Dusk — are the Orbital compositions. Each one names its journey as a pair, from where it opens to where it lands:

Midsea Murmur — Fresh Marine to Woody Aromatic. Opens on grapefruit, black pepper and mandarin; lands in amyris, ambergris and guaiac wood.

Divine Dilemma — Bright Citrus to Amber Musk. Opens on Calabrian bergamot, sweet orange and Sicilian lemon; lands in ambrette, white musk and cashmere wood.

Crown Cardinal — Fruity Citrus to Spiced Royal Oud. Opens on yuzu, black currant and passionfruit; lands in agarwood, leather and benzoin.

Black Sunset — Aromatic Spice to Smoky Animalic Oud. Opens on juniper, bitter orange and black pepper; lands in tonka bean, civet and oakmoss.

Rich Reverie — Dark Coffee to Creamy Vanilla Gourmand. Opens on pear, tuberose and orange blossom, deepened by coffee; lands in vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood.

Rose O'Clock — Bright Fruit to Blooming Rose. Opens on bergamot, Turkish rose and pink pepper; lands in amber, nagarmotha and papyrus.

La Collezione Oud and La Collezione Cristallo are composed in the classic way — top, heart and base, one identity deepening over time. They are the artistic signatures and the quiet originals of the house. Orbital belongs to Epos.

Why it is different from a normal drydown

A normal drydown subtracts. Orbital turns the whole character over.

A normal drydown is subtraction. The perfume starts loud, the volatile notes leave first, and what remains is the base — the same scent, quieter and warmer. You end the day with less of where you started.

Orbital is transformation. The two identities are composed as equals and placed on purpose, so the heart does not just soften the top — it turns the whole character over into the second orbit. You end the day with something that stands on its own, not a faint echo of the morning.

That is the difference between a perfume that fades and a perfume that travels. And it is why the compliment tends to arrive late in the day — from someone who knew your morning scent and leans in at evening to ask what you have changed into. Nothing. It changed on you. That question, asked quietly across a table, is the whole mechanism witnessed.

The proof behind the mechanism

Made in India, IFRA-compliant, sealed direct from the house — and testable on your own skin.

A new house asking for belief owes you evidence. Here is ours, in the order a skeptic would want it:

The composition is verifiable. Each Epos names its two identities in public — the exact opening notes, the exact landing notes, printed for anyone to check. One day of wear against that card confirms or breaks our claim. We hand you the means to test us.

The bottle is genuine. Every Monzzaro perfume is made in India, IFRA-compliant, and formulated paraben- and allergen-free. Every bottle leaves the house sealed and batch-marked, and is sold only direct — no middle hand for a fake to pass through.

The risk is small on purpose. The Discovery Set — all six of Act I in 5ml, ₹1,999, free shipping across India — exists so a stranger can test everything on this page for the price of dinner, before trusting us with a full bottle. It is the strongest proof a young house can offer: a week of wear, on your skin, against our claims.

And when the test convinces you, the Epos 60ml waits — from ₹3,299, numbered as part of the Act I launch edition, its box hiding a drawer with all six of Act I in 2ml beneath the bottle you chose.

The point of it

Not a copy of anything — originality you can verify on your own wrist in a day.

An original composition, built in-house, that no one else in the room is wearing — and that does not even stay the same on you across a single day. It is originality you can feel change on your own skin, and check against the box it came in.

Not a clone. Yours, twice over.
