Why the smaller bottle "feels" cheaper and rarely is

₹1,419 looks like the easy yes next to ₹3,519. It's the smaller number on the page, and smaller numbers feel like the safer decision, until you work out what you're actually paying for, spray by spray.

Here's the honest way to do that math, assumptions stated plainly so you can check it yourself.

The assumption, out loud

A perfume atomizer delivers roughly 10 sprays per millilitre: a common rule of thumb, not a measured fact about any specific Monzzaro bottle, and actual output varies by atomizer and how hard you press. We'll use it because it's the only honest way to compare sizes at all. We'll also assume a typical wear uses about 3 sprays. Pulse points and throat, not a fabric drenching.

The numbers, size by size

A 60ml Epos bottle, priced ₹3,419 to ₹3,659 depending on the perfume, holds roughly 600 sprays on that assumption. About 200 wears at 3 sprays each. So the cost works out to roughly ₹17 to ₹18.30 per wear, or about ₹6 a spray.

A 20ml bottle, at ₹1,379 to ₹1,459, holds roughly 200 sprays: about 66 wears. That lands at roughly ₹21 to ₹22 per wear.

The Discovery Set (6×5ml, ₹1,949) holds roughly 300 sprays across six different perfumes, or about 100 wears total. That works out to roughly ₹19.50 per wear.

So the 60ml is always the smart buy?

Not quite. The 60ml only wins on price-per-wear if you actually reach for it. A bottle that sits half-used has an infinite cost per wear, whatever the label says. The 20ml and the Discovery Set cost more per spray on paper because you're buying something the 60ml can't: certainty, or portability, before you commit six hundred sprays' worth of money to one scent.

What each size is actually for

The Discovery Set isn't the economy option. It's the research budget, six perfumes for a little over half of one bottle's price, spent finding out which one is yours. It is also the size that ships today: the Epos 60ml and 20ml are on preorder for mid-November 2026. The 20ml is the middle step: enough to properly live with a perfume, small enough to travel with, before deciding on a 60ml. The 60ml is the size that rewards commitment: cheapest per wear, by a real margin, once you know it's the one.

Buy small to learn. Buy large once you know. That order, not price alone, is the honest arithmetic.
